Why can't I be treated like a normal human?!

"Why..." Alyssia started, tears running down her pale cheeks. "Why... are they so mean to me? What have I ever DONE to them?!?!" She gripped her sky blue curtain as more tears pricked her eyes.
She let go of her curtain and fell onto her knees, putting her hands on her face as she sobbed quite loudly. That night, she couldn't sleep at all. Her mind and memories didn't let her.
The hurtful words of her classmates keep going through her mind. Words like "Freak!", "Why don't you go cut yourself, emo girl?!" and many more haunted her mind.
She put her arm on top of her eyes and mumbled:
"People shouldn't care... if I'm different"
